Rental Terms
By reserving a car with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions regarding your rental:
- The lessee will inspect vehicle and will return the above in the same condition as prior to use or pay to have vehicle restored.
- The rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers other than in the interior or cab of vehicle.
- The rented vehicle shall not be used to push, propel, or tow another vehicle, trailer or any other thing without the written permission of the owner.
- The rented vehicle shall not be used for any race or any competition.
- The rented vehicle shall not be used for any illegal purpose.
- The renter shall not operate the vehicle in a negligent manner.
- The rented vehicle shall not be operated by any other person other than the renter stipulated in the above mentioned without the written permission of the owner.
- The renter hereby agrees that he/she shall be held fully responsible for any loss of or damage to the vehicle or equipment during the term of this car rental agreement whether caused by collision, fire, flood, vandalism, theft or any other cause.
- The fuel used shall be paid for by the renter. (Return on full or refill at station)
- The vehicle must be driven by a person that is 25 years and older and has a valid driver’s license.
- The renter hereby agrees to be responsible for loss of use as a result of damage to the vehicle.
- The renter agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and release the owner for any damages, injuries, loss of property or life, and any inconvenience suffered whilst and during the term of the rental of the vehicle.
By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these terms for the duration of your rental period, which extends to the entire time that you have possession of the vehicle.
You may receive a waiver outlining the aforementioned terms by email or on arrival to M&W Johnson’s Car Rental.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans change, and unforeseen circumstances arise during travel. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility, and we encourage you to get in touch with us if you need further assistance or have any questions:
Your booking is subject to free cancellation up to 2 days before your reservation date, regardless of pick-up time (e.g. if you have reserved your cart for March 20th, you must cancel by March 17th at 11:59PM EST to avoid a cancellation fee).
